Critters!

I haven't seen any kangaroos, koalas, or emus on this trip yet but that will change once I'm out in the bush and not in towns...I have seen millions of birds - cockatoos, lorikeets, kookaburras, ibis (aka "bin chickens"), magpies, whipbirds, pelicans, you name it! And I've seen several flying foxes (bats) as well! There have also been plenty of roaches, mozzies, and all sorts of biting things so you need to gear up with some heavy duty insect repellent if you come to Australia! I've also run into a praying mantis and huntsman spider who looks scary but isn't dangerous...Enjoy some of the pics I've captured along the way over the last month including of my friend's Kelpie mix named "Jet" lounging on the porch.
